We are thrilled to announce that Bokšto Skveras has been awarded the Civic Trust Award and the Michael Middleton Special Award at the 2024 Civic Trust Awards Ceremony.

Bokšto Skveras is a bold reimagining of an ancient UNESCO World Heritage site that pays homage to its Lithuanian history while preserving the essence of its architectural roots. Our endeavour to transform the site into a vibrant community complex has resulted in a diverse range of functions, including workspaces, cultural venues, leisure activities, and health and wellness facilities– set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens accessible to the public.

The judges commended the project, stating “A fascinating transformation of a historically sensitive site. A true marvel of understated yet captivating architecture. Its thoughtful interventions contribute immense value to the overall site.”

Spanning over two decades, the project was a labour of love. We are immensely proud to have received recognition for our ambitious urban revitalization efforts, which have catalysed surrounding regeneration.
